On the afternoon of December 28, 2011, the inauguration ceremony of the third council of Shishi Tourism Association and Shishi Tourism Industry Development Summit Forum and the inauguration gala dinner and lottery evening were grandly held. Hu Lianrong, chairman of the Honor Group, was elected as the third chairman of the Shishi Tourism Association.

　　Shishi City Deputy Mayor Zhuang Baoling, on behalf of the Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, congratulated Hu Lianrong, Chairman of the Third Council of Shishi Tourism Association, and all colleagues of the Council. Zhuang Baoling said that tourism is one of the important pillar industries in Shishi, which occupies an important position in economic, social and cultural construction, and has great development potential in promoting the construction of the economic zone on the west side of the Straits. The establishment of Shishi City Tourism Association has established a good platform for developing tourism resources in our city, expanding domestic and foreign tourism markets, and carrying out industrial research and international exchange activities. 　　At the subsequent Shishi Tourism Industry Development Summit Forum, Li Yiqiang, deputy director of Fujian Tourism Bureau, Li Jianjun, deputy secretary of China Hotel Association, An Qiang, CEO of World Golden Key Alliance, and Professor Wang Jingqiang of Huaqiao University delivered keynote speeches. The guests also exchanged views on how to make the Shishi Hotel and the tourism industry bigger and stronger.

　　The inaugural gala dinner and lucky draw party were held in the banquet hall on the second floor of the Honor Hotel in Shishi City. The performers sang and danced, and the guests ate and drank.
